“Descifrando el Antiguo Egipto. Tutankhamón” at the Science Museum (CSIC) in Seville, Produced by Cultural Engineering.

Eight thematic areas cover different aspects of Ancient Egypt, a legendary civilization that has marked the history of Humanity. Explanatory panels, original pieces, replicas and interactive displays explain its scientific contributions and cultural advances in topics such as funerary architecture; hieroglyphic writing; agriculture and astronomy; mummification and medicine. But one of the main points of the exhibition is the space dedicated to the discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb by Howard Carter in November 1922. The exhibition concludes with a reflection on the meaning of death and the "Last Judgement" for the ancient Egyptians.

Through more than 70 photographs, texts and replicas, a series of snapshots were shown that transported the visitor to the most important civilization of humanity. Showing one of the civilizations that most enigmas and arouses curiosity in visitors of all ages, especially for the quality of its architecture and the meaning of the magic captured.

The exhibition “Ancient Egypt through the lens” offered three sections: temples, details and pyramids that will transport the visitor to the magic of this civilization. The exhibition focuses on the photographic contribution of a series of participants that unfolds a complex and archaeological vision of the monuments of Ancient Egypt. The enigmatic Egyptian culture is one of those historical milestones that equally attracts scholars and those interested in the History of Humanity.
